Up the Creek Comedy

Online Bookings, info and videos

When you are in south-east London, you cannot miss the Up the Creek comedy club in historic maritime Greenwich. Located at the center of the Greenwich district, Up the Creek is among the most impressive, top-notch clubs in UK, and one of London’s longest established comedy club.

Up the Creek was originally started by Malcolm Hardee in 1991. Be it the mural parodying Da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’ featuring Hardee as Christ and other comedians as disciples, or Hardee’s performances while stark naked, Up the Creek has always been and is the place presenting crazy, silly and brilliant comic acts.

Over the years, Up the Creek’s popularity has grown by word-of-mouth of its audience. Up the Creek’s comedy associates with some of the biggest names in London’s funny business…Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Harry Hill, Julian Clary, Ben Elton and Al Murray, to name a few. Weekend shows at Up the Creek rarely ever go empty. Packed houses and fantastic stand-up acts is what Up the Creek is best known for.
