Old description (2009): The Red Rose Comedy Club is one of north London’s finest and most impressive comedy clubs. Opened by promoter of various London clubs and stand-up comedian Ivor Dembina, the Red Rose has been around the London comedy scene since the alternative comedy boom of the 1980s. UK’s most famed comedians Russell Brand, Jack Dee, Al Murray, Eddie Izzard, Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand and Harry Hill have all performed at the Red Rose comedy club. Brilliant acts like Jake Whitehall, Richard Herring, Andrew Maxwell and Dan Antopolski, among dozens of others, are regular comedians at the Red Rose club.
The month of December is packed with weekly shows at the Red Rose comedy. Shows start Saturday, 12th December with transvestite comedian ANDREW O'NEILL, terrific comic TONY LAW, the charming PRINCE ABDI, and the witty ANDREW WALLACE.
Extra December Gig on the 18th, Friday, start with the brilliant LIAM MULLONE, glamorous and talented comedian TIFFANY STEVENSON, multi-faceted humorist HILS BARKER, and winner of the 2008 ‘So You Think You're Funny’ award DANIEL SIMONSEN.
Saturday, 19th, promises a laugh riot with the comic genius TOM BASDEN and JESSICA FOSTEKEW with LIAM MULLONE and DANIEL SIMONSON.
Christmas Eve on the 24th not only offers the best in comedy with the hilarious PAUL FOOT, 2009 English Comedian of the Year award winner MATTHEW OSBORN, 2007 ‘So You Think You're Funny’ award winner RICH SANDLING, and VUSI MLILO, but free mince-pies too!

The Red Rose comedy club opens 7:30pm on show nights. It is a good idea to reach the club by 8pm so you can get a drink or two before the show starts. Also, since there is no reserved seating, you must arrive early at the club to get the best seats. Late comers will be allowed inside during a show but must stand, or at least until interval, before seats can be managed.
The Red Rose comedy has some specific codes of conduct:
- It does not support heckling
- It does not support talking while acts are being performed
- Mobile phones are to be switched off, or at least kept on silent
- Recording or flash photography of acts is prohibited
The shows start at 8:30pm and ends 11pm. Following completion of the acts, you can enjoy the late bar and DJ music till 4AM in the morning.

The Red Rose comedy club is located at 129 Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, London N7 7QG. If you take the Victoria and Picadilly lines to Finsbury Park Tube Station, the Red Rose is less than 10 minutes walk.
