When the going gets tough, a good laugh is just what you need. And who better to offer you hours of pure goofy pleasure than UK’s own brand of comedians?

Drop in at The Comedy Store, one of London’s finest and most popular comedy clubs, for a great mirth filled time. Be prepared to have a ‘serious night out’ with six, sometimes seven, fun-filled evenings, food, drink and happy hours.

The Comedy Store offers four regular shows from Monday to Saturday and several special shows on occasions:

King Gong – King Gong will make you blush, cringe and laugh, all at the same time. Inviting and encouraging high audience interaction, it’s the best platform to show your funny side. The only time you can have people laughing at sarcasm, insult, and good natured humor, ‘have a go’ on the King Gong’s stage, and who knows…you might even win the ‘King Gong crown’!

For it’s ‘Monthly Comedy Showcase for New Acts’, King Gong invites new talent all the time. You can book yourself for shows by calling 020 7930 2949 on business days.

The Comedy Store Players – Showcasing every Sunday and Wednesday at 8pm, the Comedy Store Players are resident comedians of the Comedy Store. It’s your chance to will on 6 performers to create innovative, hilarious and brilliant comic acts without a script, or a clue of the challenges the audience will throw at them. The Comedy Store Players is truly a surreal display of talent.

The Cutting Edge – Performed by a team of 6 stand-up comedians every Tuesday night at 8pm, the Cutting Edge is a sharp and topical bag of gags, drawing heavily from current affairs. Often involving songs and joke competitions, it is the ultimate in satirical hilarity.

Best in Stand Up – A compere and four highly skilled comedians come together in this classic stand-up show, playing every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Best in Stand Up includes ‘open spots’, an opportunity where aspiring comedians showcase their talent on professional stage.

The Comedy Store is located at Haymarket House in 1a Oxendon Street, St James, central London SW1Y 4EE.
