Online Bookings, info and videos
Think you need to loosen up at the end of the day? Stressed out, bored, harangued by your boss, and could use some light-hearted fun?
In its 24th year, and still one of "London's Friendliest Comedy Club" (The Observer), the Chuckle Club is perfect for a night of silliness, humor and non-stop fun. Of the about 150 comedy clubs in London, Chuckle Club offers an experience like no other. Expect to be yourself, drop all inhibitions, and walk into the Chuckle Club’s impromptu laugh fest that is guaranteed to leave you craving for more. Packed with some of UK’s most talented comedians hurling several of the craziest and funniest shows, there’s a good deal to ‘chuckle’ about at the Chuckle Club.
For the past 23 years, the Chuckle Club has been presenting cabaret shows every Saturday night in London raising the bar for London comedy in general. Compered by host Eugene Cheese who begins with his goofy and hilarious self-written ‘Chuckle Club Song’, the audience is prompted into participating. The off-scale, off-beat singing is half the fun. And if that were not enough, the audience is also encouraged to sing Cab Calloway’s classic opera ‘Minnie the Moocher’ before Eugene introduces the night’s acts. Childish, idiotic fun is the aim, with audience comfort being the prime objective of the Chuckle Club.
Eugene’s ‘warm up’ routine is followed by 3 acts, each about 25 minutes. If you are new to the Chuckle Club and think you are funny, you can occupy the two ‘Open Spots’ to showcase your talent. Hilarious or dire, both bring on the ‘chuckle’.
The Chuckle Club is open to all. Whether you are 18 or 90, drop in to enjoy good natured, non-sexist, non-racist and non-anti-gay acts over food (served from 7pm), and drinks (low prices). The Chuckle Club is fantastic for a Saturday night out with friends, family, or alone. And if you are late to make it for the comedy show, starting 8:30pm and ending 10:45pm, you can still enjoy the nightclub (for a little extra charge) from 11pm to 4am.
The Chuckle Club may provide ticket booking facilities from third-party sites. To see ticket booking details, visit the Chuckle Club site http://www.chuckleclub.com/. You can call with enquiries to 0207 476 1672.
